The 6th General Assembly of the BIOSECURE project took place on the 3rd and 4th of June, 2025, in Spain, and was hosted by our partner, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). In this two-day meeting, consortium partners gathered to provide progress updates, collaborate in working sessions, and make important decisions across various Work Packages.
Highlights of the assembly included preliminary results from the attitudinal and risk behaviour survey, cost-benefit models for biosecurity measures, and findings from experimental and field studies. The partners also discussed dissemination activities, policy scenario materials and guidelines for data sharing. Overall, the meeting was highly productive, yielding valuable insights and fostering a collaborative environment.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that the next general assembly will be conducted online in December 2025, with the 8th General Assembly planned for Utrecht in May 2026. We look forward to continued collaboration and progress.
