The BIOSECURE project will conclude with its final conference, held together with the second international conference of the World Animal Biosecurity Association (WABA), in Ghent in November 2026. The event will bring together project partners, researchers, decision-makers, and professionals working in animal health.
The conference will present the main results of BIOSECURE. These include findings from on-farm studies and practical advice to improve biosecurity in livestock systems. The project will also demonstrate how strong biosecurity can prevent disease and improve animal well-being.
As part of the wider WABA conference, the event will create a space to share new ideas, practical solutions, and recent developments in animal health. Participants will exchange experiences, build connections, and discuss how to improve biosecurity practices worldwide.
