BIOSECURE will leave social media platform X (formerly Twitter) from August 1st, 2025. This strategic decision has been made to streamline communications and enhance engagement through platforms better suited to the dissemination of our scientific findings and project updates.
Why we made this decision
- Declining reach and engagement – Our content has been reaching fewer users, limiting our ability to effectively share project updates and insights.
- Algorithmic changes – Changes to the platform’s algorithms have increasingly prioritised paid content, making organic engagement significantly more challenging.
- Audience Migration – Many of our members and stakeholders are more active elsewhere, meaning our efforts are better placed on platforms where we can engage more effectively.
BIOSECURE consortium thanks everyone who has followed us through X since the start of the project and hopes to continue to reach our followers through our other channels. BIOSECURE will remain active on LinkedIn, BlueSky and Spotify.
