Attila Dobos

Senior Research Fellow

Attila Dobos is the senior research fellow of the Department of Veterinary Forensics and Economics at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest (UVMB). He is also the ruminant business unit manager of Central-Eastern Europe in Ceva-Phylaxia.

He graduated as a veterinarian and received his postgraduate specialist degree in state veterinary medicine and epidemiology at UVMB. He graduated as an economist (Msc) at the Faculty of Economics of the Western-Hungarian University, Sopron. He received his Ph.D. degree at UVMB. He worked as an experienced reproduction vet for many years and also focused on herd health management. He worked in the UK for several years as vet practitioner. He takes part in many national and international research projects and performed research mostly in dairy cattle. His research resulted in several peer-reviewed scientific journal papers and presentations at national and international conferences.
