Florica Bărbuceanu is an Associate Professor, DVM, PhD supervisor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, Romania. In the last years, she was involved in research projects with topics in Entomological surveys to study the possible involvement of arthropod vectors in the transmission of African swine fever virus in Romania, epidemiology, and ecology of the highly pathogenic avian influenza.
