Johannes Charlier

 Veterinary Scientist

Johannes is a veterinary scientist and founding manager of the animal health research & consulting agency Kreavet. He obtained a PhD in 2002 from Ghent University where he specialised in the diagnosis, epidemiology, control, and economics of parasite infections in ruminants. Johannes was chair of the COST Action COMBAR “Combatting Anthelmintic Resistance in Ruminants” (2017-2022) and currently is project manager of DISCONTOOLS and coordinator of the secretariat of the STAR-IDAZ international research consortium on animal health (SIRCAH).
