Livia Vidu is a full professor and the PhD supervisor at the Faculty of Animal Production Engineering and Management, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. She has been Vice Dean for Education activity at the Faculty of Animal Production Engineering and Management since 2021. She has also been a Corresponding Member of the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences since 2022.
Her responsibilities include overseeing the PhD Program in Animal Science at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest. She also served as National Coordinator FAO for the management of animal genetic resources since 2014 and as a member of the International Buffalo Federation’s Standing Committee since 2013.
She has rich publishing experience, materialized in 23 published books, including 9 first author/coordinator / single author, and 200 published scientific papers. She participated in the implementation of 21 national and international research projects.
