Marina Meester is a veterinarian with an interest in one health and infectious disease epidemiology. She is a resident of the European College of Veterinary Public Health. Moreover she plans to finish her PhD thesis at the end of 2023, regarding risk identification and control of hepatitis E virus in pig farms. In the PhD project she gathered knowledge on biosecurity by conducting a questionnaire study on biosecurity and several field studies. Her aim is to contribute to sustainable farming and control of diseases in farm animals.
