Dr. Nele Caekebeke graduated as a veterinarian with a major in Scientific Research at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ghent University in 2016. She finished her Ph.D. in coaching pig and poultry farmers toward improved infection prevention on farms in 2021. She is a member of the local Ethical Committee of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and a board member of the Veterinary Epidemiology and Economy association.
