Dr. Sebastian Moya is a veterinary researcher with qualifications in social sciences (Master in Psychosocial Research and Intervention). His cross-sector expertise is reflected in his research, which focuses on animal health, particularly the implementation of biosecurity measures and the responsible use of antimicrobials in livestock, working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., farm workers, farmers, veterinarians, and regulatory agents). He has a strong interest in participatory methods (e.g., participatory action research) and is committed to advancing the integration of animal health and animal welfare in his work.
