Teodor Ionescu is an adjunct lecturer, DVM, PhD-student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, Romania. He has didactic activity and research in the field of infectious diseases and preventive medicine as well as in the field of molecular biology diagnostic. He has published 7 scientific papers and has been involved in research projects with topics in preventive medicine and analysis of the variability of the prion protein gene (PRNP) in goat breeds from Romania.
