Successful general assembly meeting strengthens collaboration among project partners in Segovia

Project partners from various EU countries met in Segovia, Spain for the second BIOSECURE General Assembly meeting. This gathering marked a crucial moment in collaborative efforts, fostering shared insights and driving progress toward BIOSECURE goals.
The General Assembly was hosted by Animal Data Analytics (ADA), one of the project partners from Spain. ADA hosted a workshop on Biorisk®, in which they demonstrated how their technical biosecurity solution generates real-time data from people and vehicles visiting the farm.
During the second and third days of the meeting, partners provided comprehensive updates on their respective Work Packages, keeping all participants informed about the latest project developments. Teagasc, a key contributor to the project, facilitated a participatory exercise to identify stakeholder knowledge that is needed across work packages. This session provided an invaluable platform for the exchange of innovative ideas.
Throughout the meeting, partners actively collaborated in breakout sessions, focusing on critical topics such as biosecurity guidelines, animal welfare, economic impact assessment, modeling tasks, and protocol development.
The outcomes of these constructive deliberations hold great promise. As we move forward, our commitment to advancing our project’s mission remains steadfast.
